TLH Completes Construction Ahead of the Holiday Travel Season
November 16, 2017
In time for the busy holiday travel season, the Tallahassee International Airport (TLH) is pleased to announce the completion of upgrades to the airport security checkpoint. Completion of this work restores two passenger processing lanes and paves the way for future growth and development. Passengers will notice several upgrades designed to enhance the overall travel experience and increase operational efficiencies.
The holiday season is the busiest time of the year at airports. As such, TLH is offering some tried-and-true tips to help passengers prepare for a safe and enjoyable air travel experience:
- Arrive at least 90 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
- Bring a boarding pass; ticket or ticket confirmation, such as a printed itinerary; and a government-issued photo ID.
- Pack light and check with your airline regarding any checked baggage fees.
Following these simple tips will make your holiday travel easier and more enjoyable. For more detailed travel tips, please visit the Transportation Security Administration's website at www.TSA.gov.
TLH travelers are asked to arrive early and please be patient. As always, skycap services will be available for customers needing special assistance. Airport food and beverage concessionaires will be available throughout the entire holiday season. TLH customers can also take advantage of the airport's Valet Parking Service and Cell Phone Waiting Lot to make their travel experience smoother.
