Three People Arrested by TPD After Residential Burglary

The Tallahassee Police Department has made three arrests for a burglary occurring Tuesday afternoon at 2326 Talley Lane. Due to the quick actions of patrol officers, three suspects were identified and arrested for breaking into a home while the resident was inside. Officers quickly arrested one person trying to leave the area and with the assistance of the Leon County Sheriff's Office K9 and helicopter, were able to arrest two more people in the area. The resident of the home was unharmed and assisted officers in the investigation. Destin Vickers, Malik Hawkins and Dequan Harris were transported to the Leon County Detention Facility for processing.
The case has been assigned to investigators from TPD's Burglary Crimes Unit.
