City Commission to Conduct Interviews for City Manager

The Tallahassee City Commission will hold a special meeting on Monday, Sept. 17, at 8 a.m. to conduct interviews for the City Manager position. The meeting is scheduled to last until 11:45 a.m. The Commission will reconvene at 4:45 p.m. to discuss candidates, decide on a candidate and/or direct staff to continue the recruitment process. The City Manager position will also be placed on the September 26 City Commission agenda.
A nationwide search to fill the position was conducted by S. Renée Narloch & Associates from July 16 to September 10. This resulted in 31 applications received, three of which are being recommended for interviews.
- Lee Feldman, City Manager, City of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
- Reese Goad, Interim City Manager, City of Tallahassee, Fla.
- Jill Silverboard, Deputy City Manager, City of Clearwater, Fla.
The interviews will all be held in the Tallahassee Room on the second floor of City Hall, 300 South Adams Street. They will be open to the public.
