Q. How do I find lost property?
A. For items lost on an aircraft, contact your airline directly. For items lost at the security checkpoint, contact the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) by phone at 850-504-6200 or visit their website at www.tsa.gov. Items found in all other areas of the airport are held with Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) found property, and may be held for up to 7 days. Q. How long before my flight should I arrive at the airport?
A. We recommend that all passengers arrive at the airport a minimum of 1.5 hours prior to departure time. All passengers are strongly encouraged to check with their airline for further guidance.
Q. How can I learn about employment opportunities at the Airport?
A. The Aviation Department is operated by the City of Tallahassee. For inquiries about positions available at the Airport or other City departments, please visit www.talgov.com for job openings. For information about job opportunities at businesses located at the Airport (i.e. airlines, rental car agencies, food & beverage concessions, etc.), you may stop by the Airport to visit businesses in person or visit their individual websites for more details about current job listings.
Q. When is the terminal open?
A. The Ivan Munroe Terminal Building opens at 4:00 a.m. and closes at 12:30 a.m. or after the last arriving flight.
Q. What food services are offered at the airport?
A. Tuscan Sun Coffee House and Creative Food Group (CFG) Market Fresh and the Wine Bin are located airside in the concourse beyond the security checkpoint. Samuel Adams restaurant is located at the landside area of the terminal. Each offers a variety of hot and cold entrees, sandwiches, salads, breakfast meals, gourmet coffees and teas, desserts and snacks.
Q. Is there a retail, newsstand and gift shop in the airport?
A. The Paradies Shops offer a variety of reading materials, snacks, gift items and traveling essentials both before and after the security checkpoint.
Q. Does TLH have currency exchange?
A. TLH does not offer currency exchange services. There are ATMs located throughout the terminal.

A. The Ivan Munroe Terminal Building is a smoke-free facility. There are designated smoking areas outside of the terminal building.
Q. Does the Airport provide Wi-Fi access?

Q. How do I request assistance for elderly/minor/disabled passengers?
A. Skycaps are available to assist passengers. Typical services include curbside check-in, carrying baggage, and wheelchair assistance. Please contact your airline to arrange for assistance from skycaps. It is customary to tip skycaps a few dollars for service provided.
Q. How do I request a wheelchair?
A. If you require a wheelchair, please contact your airline in advance and one will be provided for your use within the airport.
Q. When is parking available at TLH?
A. The public parking lot is open 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Q. Does TLH have a cell phone lot?
A. Yes! TLH's cell phone waiting lot is located near the exit on Capital Circle.

A. Please visit the ticket counter of the passenger’s airline to inquire about a boarding gate pass.
Q. Where do I go to pick up my pet or other live cargo?
A. All air cargo including live animals are handled by the individual airlines. Please contact your airline directly regarding air cargo.
Q. What is the average taxi rate to get to downtown Tallahassee?
A. Taxi fares are defined by City of Tallahassee Code of Ordinances, Chapter 22 § 97. Fares from the airport to the defined downtown area are $20.
Q. Can I reserve a parking space?
A. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. However, with over 326 hourly and 1,377 daily parking spaces, there are always plenty of spaces available!
Q. Are there rental car agencies on-site or near the Airport?
A. Rental car agencies (RAC’s) are located in the Main Terminal. Available RAC’s are: Alamo/National, Avis/Budget, Dollar/Thrifty, Enterprise and Hertz.
Q. What hotels provide shuttle services to and from the Airport?
A. Quality Inn & Suites, Residence Inn at Marriot, Wingate Hotel, Hotel Duval, and Double Tree Hotel; all of which are centrally located in the downtown area.
Q. What other shuttle services are provided at the Airport?
A. Classic Limo, Mike’s Limo, Top Hat Limo, Astro Travel and Tours, Luxury Limo, Champion Coach, and Discount Transportation.
Q. Where should I report items missing from my checked baggage?
A. Please contact your airline directly regarding any missing item(s). Claims for missing items may also be filed with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), which is responsible for the screening of passengers and baggage at U.S. airports. You may also file a report with the Tallahassee Police Department, which has jurisdiction over thefts which occur at the Tallahassee Regional Airport. This may be done by calling the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) Information Desk, at (850) 891-7567.
Q. What can I take in my carry-on baggage?
A. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) defines items prohibited from being brought onto airplanes in carry-on and/or checked bags. See the TSA’s list of prohibited items for more information.
Q. What forms of ID is required to travel and is a photo ID required?
A. Passengers who do not or cannot present an acceptable ID will have to provide information to the Transportation Security Officer performing Travel Document Checking duties in order to verify their identity. Passengers who are cleared through this process may be subject to additional screening. Passengers whose identity cannot be verified by the TSA may not be allowed to go through the checkpoint or onto an airplane. For more information visit the TSA website.
Q. Does my child need an I.D. card to travel?
A. Children under 18 years of age usually are not required to have a photo ID for domestic flights; however, as each airline has its own requirements, please contact your airline directly to confirm its ID requirement for minors. If you do need to obtain a photo ID for you or your child, they can be obtained from a number of suppliers.
