Airport Makes Valentine’s Day a Little Sweeter
Customers can Register to Win Valuable Rewards on February 14 with I Heart Miles Day
February 12, 2013
L-O-V-E. That’s what customers flying in and out the Tallahassee Regional Airport (TLH) will feel this Valentine’s Day. On February 14, the Airport, in conjunction with the Thanks Again company, will host “I Heart Miles Day.” This special day, which begins at 7 a.m., will allow customers to learn more about the Airport’s ongoing customer rewards program, as well as register for a chance to win 3,000 miles.
“Some people give candy, some flowers, in Tallahassee, we give frequent flyer miles on items already purchased when flying in and out of the Tallahassee Regional Airport,” said City Commissioner Scott Maddox, lead commissioner on Airport issues. “We have always appreciated travelers who travel to and from our beautiful city, promoting the Thanks Again program on I Heart Miles Day is another fun way for us to express our gratitude.”
Throughout I Heart Miles Day, staff will be on hand to assist customers with registering for the Thanks Again rewards program. This program allows customers to earn miles for all qualifying TLH dining, shopping and parking transactions. To participate, customers must register a valid American Express or Visa credit card with the program. By purchasing items with their registered credit card, customers will receive one mile for every $1 spent at participating vendors. Miles earned will then be applied to the customers’ selected airline frequent flyer account. These earned miles can then be applied to future TLH purchases, including airline tickets. Enrollment in the program is convenient, secure and, best of all, free!
Customers who may not be able to attend I Heart Miles Day can also register for the rewards program by visiting Thanksagain.com/TLH or by texting “FLYTLH” to 82257. Customers currently participating in the rewards program who wish to enter the drawing for 3,000 miles can simply email their member identification number to email@example.com by midnight (Eastern Standard Time) on Valentine’s Day.
Participating Airport vendors, including the Tuscan Sun Coffee Shop, will also get in on all the love by offering food and beverage samplings free of charge. The Paradies Gift Shop will even feature a book signing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. by northwest Florida author Olivia deBelle Byrd, who wrote “Miss Hildreth Wore Brown – Anecdotes of a Southern Belle.” Customers may also register to win a Valentine’s Day gift basket filled with sweet goodies.
Thanks Again works with over 170 airports and 30,000 local businesses across the United States to offer customers the ability to earn additional rewards. Thanks Again includes most of the largest airline miles rewards programs, such as Delta SkyMiles and US Airways Dividend Miles programs.
