Utility Payment Drive-Through Closing on Fridays
November 5
Customers may use 13 remote payment locations or SmartBill - Effective tomorrow, Nov. 6, the City of Tallahassee's utility payment drive-through facility at 600 N. Monroe St. will be closed on Fridays. The City has worked to communicate the Friday closures through flyers to all drive-through facility customers over the last month, information in the utility bills, stories by the local news media, information on the City's Talgov.com website and through public service announcements on WCOT Channel 13 and local cable and tv stations. Although the drive-through facility will be closed on Friday, as a courtesy to customers who may forget about the closure, City staff will be on-site from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to advise customers of other utility bill payment options available to them.
Utility customers needing to make in-person payments tomorrow and on Fridays through the end of the year may do so at any of 13 remote payment locations listed below, or by converting to the free SmartBill payment option via the City's Talgov.com/YOU website.
