Guests attending the Florida Neighborhoods Conference will receive special room rates at the DoubleTree Hotel, which is located in downtown Tallahassee just two blocks from the Florida capitol. It is also minutes away from the main conference activities and the civic center.
For call in reservations, guests should identify themselves as part of the 'Florida Neighborhoods Conference 2008 group.' All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card or an advance deposit. Reservations may be made by calling 800-222-8733 or via the Internet. All individual reservations need to be made prior to the cut off date of May 26, 2008.
To reserve rooms via the Internet, visit the DoubleTree website (www.tallahassee.doubletree.com) and indicate 'check-in/check-out' under check availability. Click 'go' which will bring up the 'Review Reservation Details' that include stay information and room type preferences. Scroll down to the section titled 'Special Accounts' and type in 'FNC' next to Group/Convention Code. Click continue and then 'Select Your Room and Rate' and follow the on-screen instructions to make a reservation.

If rooms at the host hotel are completely booked, the Park Plaza (www.parkplaza.com), which is in close proximity to conference activities, will offer a competitive rate. For additional lodging, visit the Tallahassee-Leon County Convention & Visitor's Bureau site.
