The mission of the Equity and Workforce Development Department of the City of Tallahassee is to assist the city in its compliance and practical implementation of applicable laws and regulations as mandated by Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Additionally, to assist in the development of a culturally and ethnically diverse organization and community that manages diversity by creating a climate that values differences.
