Facilities Management

City Hall

Facilities Management (FM) is dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction in not only City Hall, but also all the City Buildings that we do work in. We are committed to being easily accessible and proactive in resolving problems, maintaining a comfortable, green and sustainable environment, which in turn, supports workplace productivity and efficiency. There are two sections of Facilities Management, Architectural Services and Building Services.

For all departments, Architectural Services offers complete architectural design services for renovation and new construction of city properties. Emphasizing green building and sustainability, we have a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional (AP) on staff. We have recently added a Certified Building Commissioning Agent (CBCA) to our list of credentials, also required for buildings seeking LEED certification.

Building Services is responsible for the everyday City Hall maintenance needs. Services include carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and custodial. They also provide security services for various other city buildings.

FM is responsible for taking reservations for Conference Rooms in City Hall for use by non-profit groups. For a fee, non-profit organizations may use City Hall conference rooms on a first come first serve basis when they are available. City Hall is located at 300 South Adams Street.

Downtown parking for City Hall is available in the Kleman Plaza Parking Garage directly east of City Hall on Duval Street.
