Hilaman Golf Cart Path Upgrades Begin Dec 7 - View Project Details

Golf at Jake Gaither and Hilaman
Both of the City’s golf courses will open for restricted play from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. During restricted play, only one person per cart will be permitted. Players are asked to not touch or remove flags and to bring their own water, hand sanitizer and scoring pencils. There will be at least 15 minutes required between tee times, and tee times for Hilaman Golf Course must be reserved online via Hilaman.com. Players are asked to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to tee times. The practice putting green will be reserved for players warming up before their tee time. The practice putting green will be limited to six players at Hilaman and two at Jake Gaither. The pro shop and driving range at Hilaman will remain closed; access to the pro shop at Jake Gaither will be limited to two players at a time. The restaurant at Hilaman will be open and serving food in compliance with the Governor’s Executive Order.

The Jake Gaither Golf Course is a nine hole, par 36 with a course/slope rating of 69.8/127. The course offers a pro shop with golf merchandise and snack items, a practice putting green, and rental clubs. The entire course, was renovated in 1998 and the additional teeing areas makes the course very enjoyable for all level of golfers

Acquired by the City of Tallahassee in 1981 and re-opened for play in 1982, Hilaman Golf Course has been the City's favorite public golf facility for over three generations. Our par 72 course winds through some of the city's most beautiful landscapes as it challenges golfers of every level. Each of our 18 holes requires a unique approach as you play your way through the course. You are sure to appreciate our wide-open fairways as you tee-off from one of four tee boxes.
