Three People Arrested for Drugs and Out of State Warrants

On Friday, August 9, 2019 at 7:07 p.m., Tallahassee Police officers assigned to the Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving (COPPS) Squad were conducting proactive patrol in the area of Mission Road and West Tharpe Street in response to violent crime and to deter narcotics activity. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for running a red light and made contact with the three occupants of the vehicle. During their interaction with the occupants of the vehicle, officers discovered two people had warrants from Mobile County, Alabama for several counts of drug charges and burglary. Probable cause was developed to conduct a search of the vehicle. During the investigation, officers discovered methamphetamine, clonazepam pills with no prescription and drug paraphernalia.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Tallahassee Police officers arrested all three individuals and transported them to the Leon County Detention Facility for processing.

Possession of a Controlled Substance pursuant to Florida Statute 893.13(6)(a).
(6 counts) Out of State Warrants for Unlawful Distribution of Dangerous Drugs pursuant to Florida State Statute 941.02.

Adam B. Kidd - Age: 23
Charges:
(2 counts) Out of State Warrants for Burglary pursuant to Florida State Statute 941.02.
