Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP)
The City of Tallahasse currently offers a 3 year DROP program for all General, Fire, and Police personnel that will allow City employees to continue their employment while their retirement benefit is deposited monthly into an interest bearing account. This program provides an excellent opportunity for retirees to accumulate savings while continuing their employment. Below are links to information on the general provisions of the DROP program.
