The City of Tallahassee is the seat of and only incorporated municipality within Leon County. It is the capital of Florida and home to two state universities.
The City of Tallahasse currently offers a 3 year DROP program for all General, Fire, and Police personnel that will allow City employees to continue their employment while their retirement benefit is deposited monthly into an interest bearing account.
