The Tallahassee Senior Foundation is nearing its Fund Raising goal of $50,000 for the Cornerstone Endowment Fund. Almost $41,000 has been contributed to date. The Foundation needs only $9,000 to reach the $50,000 goal.
Foundation members, business partners, senior center participants and others began the quest to build the endowment fund earlier this year in honor of Senior Services manager Sheila Salyer's 50th birthday. Monies donated to the fund ensure continued senior programming for this and the next generation of seniors. Recently celebrating its 30th anniversary, the center sees the baton passing and the Foundation seeks an assurance that the future offers adequate funding for social engagement, health and wellness programs and recreational opportunity for our senior adults.
All donations are 100% tax deductible. Businesses and individuals can also give monies as honorariums or in special recognition of accomplishment. Your contribution makes a difference.
