Deck the Halls Special Preview Event
"Brunch & Boutique", Saturday, November 14, 10:00am - 12:00n
Unique Saturday morning Brunch & Boutique features light brunch, Jenny Craig healthy cooking demonstration, boutique-style shopping among local artists and vendors, handcrafted holiday ornaments, one-of-a-kind seasonal wreaths and "How to Tie a Bow" lessons.

The Grandparents as Parents (GaP) Back to School Expo offered area grandparents raising grandkids the opportunity to meet with service providers/exhibitors, network with each other, and take advantage of health screenings while the children had more fun fare-like checking out the inside of a Leon County ambulance. The event was attended by more than 100 participants, volunteers, and exhibitors.Grandparents as Parents (GaP)

Luncheon and Support Group: Resources, information and support for grandparents and other family caregivers rearing children. September 30 & October 28, 11:30am - 1:00pm at the Leon County Public Library, Program Room A, 200 W Park Avenue. Complimentary luncheon. Reservations required! Call 891-4041. Legal consultation provided by Legal Services of North Florida.

Bag and Gab: Bring your own lunch or get the Senior Center salad bar for $4. Sharing and fellowship. October 8, 12:00n - 1:30pm, Tallahassee Senior Center, 1400 N Monroe St, Conference Rm 3-A.

Leisure Learning Classes

$2 suggested donation per class for 55+ and $5 per class for others. Space is limited, so pre-registration required. To register for scheduled classes, call 891-4008.
