UPDATE - Police Investigate Commercial Burglaries

Currently it is believed that the same suspect in the series of burglaries reported in the October 18 report below has burglarized the following locations within the City of Tallahassee:
- Kentucky Fried Chicken, Paul Russell Rd
- Subway, 411 Magnolia Dr
- Subway, 2401 Millcreek Rd
- Evershine Hydroponics, 1519 Cap Circle NE
- Dairy Queen, 2227 N Monroe
- Burger King, 360 W Tharpe St
Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Division and the Forensic Unit responded to the burglaries and processed the scene, collected evidence and have interviewed all witnesses. TPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect and are asking anyone with information about the case to call (850) 891-4200 or CrimeStoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.

The Tallahassee Police Department’s Burglary Unit is currently investigating a string of commercial burglaries that are believed related to the same suspect. Investigators believe the crimes will continue if the suspect is still in the area. The suspect is a black male who is targeting mostly fast food restaurants while they are closed. There have been seven (7) commercial burglaries believed to have been committed by this individual.
Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Division and Forensics Unit have processed the crime scenes. Burglary Investigators are working diligently to interview all involved and process the evidence located on scene.
