Citizen Advisory Boards
We appreciate your interest in serving on a City of Tallahassee Citizen Advisory Board/Committee. Citizen participation in the daily program and policy development of the City of Tallahassee is recognized as an important element in providing quality public services to the community.
You must submit an application to get your name in the City's applicant pool.
Your application will be retained for 2 years for consideration of present and/or future vacancies. There currently may or may not be a vacancy on the board/committee on which you wish to serve. Additionally, existing members are eligible for reappointment to a second term, and so there may not be a vacancy at the end of board member's first term.
City of Tallahassee Ethics Board
On November 4, 2014 the citizens of Tallahassee voted to establish a seven-member ethics board. The City Commission is responsible for appointing one member to this board and is issuing a call for applications to begin the appointment process. Persons interested in serving on the Ethics Board as a representative of the government of the City of Tallahassee will find an application that is specific to the Ethics Board and additional information here.
