Solid Waste Services Holiday Schedules
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
The City of Tallahassee will observe the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, January 19. Listed below are solid waste collection schedule changes for the week of January 19-24, for customers living inside the Tallahassee city limits.
Remember, your garbage and recycling service is once a week, curbside (except for Helping Hands or or Premium Service customers). Both containers are picked up on the same day. Please roll both containers to the curb by 6:30 a.m.
Garbage / Recycling / Yard Waste (blue week) / Bulky Items (blue week)
- Monday customers move to Tuesday
- Tuesday customers move to Wednesday
- Wednesday customers move to Thursday
- Thursday customers move to Friday
- Friday customers move to Saturday
- Note that Saturday Blue Week Yard Waste and Bulky Item customers will remain on Saturday.
