Pepper Drive Stormwater Improvements

Description
This project addressed flooding of residential houses along the lower portion of Pepper Drive near Lake Bradford Road. Analysis of the flood-prone area indicated that structural drainage improvements would not solve the flooding problem, therefore the City implemented a voluntary acquisition program to acquire of 29 properties in the flood-prone area. Of the 29 targeted properties 27 were acquired and the lots were returned to their natural condition.
