Description
This project will address structural flooding of several residential properties adjacent to the West Drainage Ditch Tributary. A detailed study of the West Drainage Ditch Tributary, which provides drainage for this area, will be performed to determine existing flood elevations and to identify possible solutions to the drainage problems experienced in the area. This study will utilize a hydraulic computer model to simulate various historical rainfall events as well as design storms, in order to predict existing 100-year flood stages in the vicinity. This analysis will be utilized in developing strategies for alleviating flooding of residential properties in the area.
