Central Drainage Ditch Flood Relief

Description
The purpose of this project is to develop and analyze solution alternatives that lower flood stages downstream of the FSU campus within the Central Drainage Ditch. If feasible, a secondary benefit of the project would be to provide development stormwater capacity for two future roadway projects, the widening of Gaines Street and the Jackson Bluff Road Extension, while reducing flood stages in the target area.

A feasibility study and preliminary engineering report, which summarizes the merits of each alternative analyzed was completed in August 2004.
