Description

Historically, flooding has been common in the Chapel Drive area west of Stadium Drive, affecting streets, yards, and several apartment buildings. However, flooding may have been reduced by the City’s reconstruction of West Call Street and by the ongoing construction of the Campus Circle Stormwater Improvements project. The objectives of this project are to prepare a comprehensive plan to define the current stormwater flooding problems, to identify their causes, and to develop cost-effective solutions to address them.

Status

Current
he first phase of the project, an analysis of the flooding problems and development of solution alternatives, was completed in the fall of 2004.
