Description
Connie Drive, located on the south side of Paradise Village East, parallels a watercourse, which frequently exhibits overbank flooding conditions. Many lots within this subdivision and also in Greenwood Park, downstream, experience hazardous overland flow. A stormwater master plan was needed to identify the flooding hazards and develop cost effective solutions to address the flood problem areas. The selected design alternative minimizes flood hazards by improving drainage conveyance where needed, while providing attenuation to mitigate for offsite impacts.

Final design and preparation of construction plans to implement the recommended solution was completed in the fall of 2004.
