Update to Death Investigation at Pasco Street and Okaloosa Street

As the investigation continues, TPD is releasing information on the death investigation occurring early Friday morning, November 29, 2019, in the area of Pasco Street and Okaloosa Street. The Violent Crimes Unit and Traffic Homicide Unit have been working throughout the day interviewing witnesses and examining evidence. Investigators determined the vehicle, a black Toyota Corolla, was involved in a traffic crash near the area of Mill Street and Springhill Road. The vehicle was moved to the area of Pasco Street and Okaloosa Street after the crash.
The deceased person, an adult male, was located inside the vehicle by responding officers who attempted life saving measures which were unsuccessful. The cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy.

The Tallahassee Police Department is currently investigating a death near the intersection of Pasco Street and Okaloosa Street. At approximately 4:57 a.m., officers arrived on scene to find a deceased person inside a vehicle.
This case has been assigned to investigators with TPD's Violent Crimes Unit. Investigators are asking anyone with information about this case to please call them at 850-891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at 850-574-TIPS. TPD will provide more information when it becomes available.
