City Commission to Meet at Smith-Williams Service Center on June 8

The Tallahassee City Commission will hold its regular meeting and its third budget workshop on Wednesday, June 8, at the Smith-Williams Service Center, 2295 Pasco Street. The meeting will begin at 3 p.m., and the budget workshop will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Agendas for both the meeting and workshop, as well as details about how to share public comment, are available at Talgov.com/CitizenInput.
The workshop continues the year-round budget process. Information about the City's financials is always available through OpenGov and the City's online budget, both accessible through Talgov.com.
The City continues to be committed to frequent, open and transparent communication with the community regarding the status of the current budget and development of the FY23 budget, offering ample opportunities for public input. The next steps for budget meetings are as follows:
- July 1 - Certified taxable property values
- July 13 - FY22 third quarter update, proposed FY23 budget and approval of tentative millage
- September 7 - City Commission meeting for the first FY23 budget hearing
- September 21 - City Commission meeting for the final FY23 budget hearing
