"We want to ensure a safe and enjoyable spring break for the youth in our community," Police Chief Lawrence Revell said. "Events like this highlight our efforts to be HERE for our community and ensure our children stay engaged with positive activities for spring break."
TPD reminds teens and young adults to stay safe during the week. Below are tips to help:
- Have a plan and share it with a parent or guardian.
- Use the buddy system. Arrive and leave with your friends.
- Be cautious about revealing your location on social media through status updates or tweets.
- Trust your instincts. If something feels off, it probably is. Call the local non-emergency line (850-606-3800) for help or dial 911.
