Community Meetings Focus on Irma Response

City and County Seek Citizen Feedback

Your input is needed to help strengthen the future disaster resiliency of our community. Please join the City of Tallahassee and Leon County at one of the upcoming community meetings to discuss storm response and continuing recovery efforts related to Irma.

Two community meetings will be held next week. Each meeting will start at 6 p.m.

• Monday, Sept. 18: Walker Ford Community Center, 2301 Pasco Street
• Thursday, Sept. 21: Leon County Eastside Branch Library, 1583 Pedrick Road

At each meeting, staff will give a brief presentation to provide an overview of local government's response to Irma. Following the presentation, the floor will be given to attendees. Feedback from residents will be used to enhance future efforts.

After these meetings, County and City staff will assess whether more meetings will be scheduled.
