March 03, 2017
This Saturday, March 4, StarMetro, the City of Tallahassee's mass transit system, will implement route and schedule changes to improve the overall system's effectiveness and efficiency. To view the route change maps and schedules, please visit Talgov.com/RouteChanges.
Some of the most notable changes feature new weekday schedules that include additional service at stops on the Big Bend route south of C.K. Steele Plaza and Tall Timbers route west of C.K. Steele Plaza. In addition, the new Park route will serve Governor’s Square Mall via Park Avenue on weekdays from 9:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Customers can easily navigate the StarMetro system from their smart phones using TransLoc, a best-in-class mobile app that provides alerts when buses are arriving based on real-time GPS. The app is available for download through the Apple and Google Play stores. Customers can also use other City mobile applications including DigiTally and Find My Bus to assist with their travels.
