TPD Arrest Burglary Team

During the evening of Friday, January 25th, TPD officers responded to 2432 N. Monroe Street (You-Fit) reference a vehicle burglary. After watching surveillance footage, officers were able to identify a silver Nissan Altima as the suspect vehicle.
Approximately an hour later, TPD's Community Oriented Policing & Problem-Solving squad (COPPS) observed the same sedan driving through the parking lots of 1390 Village Square Blvd. (Village Square Shopping Center) and 3521 Maclay Blvd. (Premier Health & Fitness Center). Once the suspect vehicle parked, officers converged on the sedan and apprehended two suspects, recovering the stolen property from the You Fit burglary, stolen tags, cannabis and burglary tools.
Both arrestees were booked into the Leon County Dentition Facility, with possible charges pending.
