April 26, 2019
The General Narcotics Unit and Community Oriented Policing and Problem Solving Squad (COPPS) assigned to the southern sector worked together today during an operation focused on criminal activity in the area of 2021 Holton Street (Robinson’s Groceries). The Tallahassee Police Department has received numerous complaints from citizens regarding crime, including drug sales and prostitution, around the location. TPD officers utilized several surveillance techniques throughout the day and developed probable cause leading to four arrests during the operation. The arrestees were transported to the Leon County Detention Facility for processing.
The Tallahassee Police Department strives to address all citizen complaints regarding crime and quality of life. The arrests made at Robinson’s Grocery helped deter further criminal activity at the location and officers will continue to monitor the area. TPD encourages all citizens to work together with us to prevent crime in our community by notifying us when they observe activity which can lead to crime.
