TPD Investigates Crash on West Orange Avenue

All lanes near the intersection of West Orange Ave and Paul Dirac Dr have been reopened. TPD would like to thank everyone for their patience.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, but did not speak with an officer on scene, or anyone with information about the accident to please call (850) 891-4200 and ask to speak with the Traffic Homicide Unit. They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.

TPD is investigating a traffic crash near the intersection of West Orange Avenue and Paul Dirac Dr. At approximately 1:06 pm TPD responded to the crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle. Sadly, the driver of the motorcycle has died as a result of their injuries.
Traffic Homicide Investigators have been called to the scene and have assumed the investigation. Both east and west bound lanes on West Orange Ave, and north and south bound lanes of West Paul Dirac Drive have been closed at this time. Motorist are urged to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
