July 10, 2020
The Tallahassee Police Department's Special Investigations Section served a search warrant this morning, July 10, at 1911 Keith Street, resulting in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of narcotics.
The investigation began when anonymous tips came in through Crimestoppers and the main police line. Officers in the area also reported suspicious activity at the location, and an investigation was opened.
During the course of the investigation, probable cause was established, and a search warrant obtained.
During this morning's warrant service, investigators were able to arrest and charge Tony Hodges, 51, and Timmesha Collier, 31. Investigators seized cocaine, hydrocodone, amphetamines, methylphenidate, a marijuana plant, and suspected synthetic cannabis.
"The Bond community, where Keith Street is located, has actively partnered with TPD to address crime and the issues that lead to crime," Chief Lawrence Revell said. "Today's events are an example of how information shared with law enforcement by community members can lead to tangible results that improve the quality of life within neighborhoods. I'd like to thank the community for their engagement, and I am proud of the work of our officers."
