November 24, 2020
Nothing beats the awe and wonder of gazing at dazzling holiday lights. With this in mind, the City of Tallahassee has transformed Dorothy B. Oven Park into a magical holiday drive-thru experience, complete with over 150,000 twinkling lights. The holiday drive-thru experience will be all aglow this Thanksgiving evening, Thursday, Nov. 26, and run until the New Year, Jan. 1.
From the comfort and safety of their own vehicle, families can drive slowly through the winding, sparkling path of Dorothy B. Oven Park, which is located at 3205 Thomasville Road. On all sides of the magical route, spectacular light displays that bring holiday themes and characters to life can be seen.
On weekdays, the holiday drive-thru experience will be open from 6-11 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays, the holiday drive-thru experience will have extended hours from 5:30 - 11 p.m. Motorists traveling along Thomasville Road are urged to drive with caution in the vicinity of the park.
