Tallahassee Police Make Arrest Following Georgia Street Homicide

On Wednesday, Nov. 17, the Tallahassee Police Department arrested one adult male following a fatal shooting that occurred on Nov. 4 in the 600 block of West Georgia Street.
Following a thorough investigation, detectives determined the suspect and the victim were known to each other and had a prior dispute over money. The suspect located the victim sitting on a park bench and subsequently shot and killed him. The victim was unarmed.

Carl Denson Jr., 24, for first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
