Deck the Halls at the Tallahassee Senior Center
Annual Holiday Event Kicks Off City’s 2021 Winter Festival Weekend
November 23, 2021
On Friday, Dec. 3, the eve of the City of Tallahassee’s 2021 Winter Festival, usher in the holiday season at the Tallahassee Senior Center’s Deck the Halls celebration. One night each year, the Tallahassee Senior Center (TSC) becomes a winter wonderland, with gourmet food, festive drinks, holiday music, good cheer and great company. All are welcome to attend. The seasonal fun kicks off at 6:30 p.m. at the TSC, located at 1400 N. Monroe St.
Tickets for Deck the Halls are $60 each and include complimentary valet parking. Discounts are available for groups of 6, 8 and 10. It’s the perfect excuse for inviting family and friends to join you in jumpstarting the holidays. Visit TallahasseeSeniorFoundation.org, call 850-891-4003 or stop by the Senior Center to purchase tickets. Proceeds help support services and programs for the community’s active aging population.
A $250 cash giveaway is among the highlights of this premier fundraiser event. Each $60 donation received by December 1 will be entered into a drawing for the cash giveaway and other door prizes. The ever-popular silent auction is back, with more than 100 items up for bid, from trips and jewelry to pet services, homemade treats and sporting experiences. There’s also a martini bar and live holiday music from the band Jazz, Etc.
Deck the Halls is presented by the Tallahassee Senior Center & Foundation in partnership with Audiology Associates of North Florida, a Division of Tallahassee Ear, Nose & Throat, and other generous co-sponsors.
The Tallahassee Senior Center is operated and maintained by Tallahassee Senior Services, which is part of the City of Tallahassee's Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs Department.
