Winter Festival Preparing for the Season of Joy

The annual Winter Festival event rings in the holiday season each year in Tallahassee, and community members are needed to help add to the joy as vendors, entertainers, parade participants and more.
This year's celebration will take place on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 3-10 p.m. As always, the event will transform downtown into a holiday wonderland, with the lighting ceremony, Jingle Bell Run and Holiday Parade. The event also includes live entertainment, a children's activity area and lots more festive fun.
Be part of the fun by applying for one of the community components listed below. Applications are available online at Talgov.com/WinterFestival:
- Vendors, including food booths - application deadline of Sept. 30
- Entertainment - application deadline of Oct. 1
- Nighttime Holiday Parade - application deadline of Oct. 14
- Arts and Crafts Exhibitors - application deadline of Oct. 14
