TFD Responds to Fire on Tyron Pass

At 1:35 a.m. today, Nov. 22, the Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) was dispatched to a building fire located in the 100 block of Tyron Pass. Initial crews arrived on scene to find a two-story structure with heavy smoke and fire showing. TFD crews made a quick attack on the fire to get it under control. TFD crews performed a search of the structure and found no occupants inside the building. There were no injuries reported on scene.
The State Fire Marshal's office was called to the scene and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
TFD was assisted on scene by the Tallahassee Police Department, City of Tallahassee Utilities and Leon County EMS.
