Putnam Drive Fire Response

On December 28, at 10:34 p.m., the Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) was dispatched to a residential structure fire located in the 500 block of Putnam Drive. TFD arrived on scene to find heavy fire coming through the roof of a single-story structure.
TFD personnel entered the structure and found heavy fire in the attic. While crews worked to extinguish the fire, firefighters searched the structure for any occupants. The search was determined clear and that all occupants had exited the structure. There were no injuries reported on scene.
The cause of the fire appears to be electrical in nature.
TFD was assisted on scene by the Tallahassee Police Department, Leon County EMS and City of Tallahassee Utilities.
