TFD Responds to Ulysses Road Residential Fire

On July 8, at 11:37 p.m., the Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) was dispatched to a structure fire located in the 2500 block of Ulysses Road. TFD arrived on scene and found heavy smoke and fire coming from a residential structure. TFD personnel quickly deployed hose lines to attack a fire that appeared to be primarily in the garage area, including a vehicle. Crews searched the structure and found no one inside. TFD personnel were able to contain the fire mostly to the garage area, saving much of the home. The cause of the fire was possibly due to electrical issues. There were no injuries reported on scene.
TFD was assisted on scene by the Tallahassee Police Department, Leon County EMS and the City of Tallahassee Utilities.
