I am a spayed female & I look like a American Staffordshire Terrier and Pharaoh Hound
The shelter staff think I am 2 years and 5 months old.
I'm Roxanne! I'm 48lbs. I originally came to the shelter as a lost dog and my owners were never found so I was put up for adoption and was quickly adopted (my dynamic ears and sweet personality carry me quite well). My adopters had me for a couple of months and grew tired of me so back to the shelter I came. I was then adopted out again and my new adopters let me loose because I wanted to be in the house with them and rather than a yard dog. My finder happily provided me a home for a bit but having a dog was more than she could take on so back to the shelter I came. I've had a string of awful luck and I know it has nothing to do with me! I'm a happy, outgoing girl who is ready for just about any adventure. I get along well with other dogs, know my basic commands and I'm housetrained and crate trained. I am very adaptable, personable and smart (and clearly, resilient). I specialize in being a best friend as I am happy to support your when you are sad, cuddle with you when you need warmth and back you when you are feeling less than confident. Consider me your self help guru & take me home today!
