City Commission to hold Workshop

The Tallahassee City Commission will hold a workshop on Wednesday, July 10, at 1 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers, second floor, City Hall, 300 South Adams Street.
At the workshop, Commissioners will receive an update on the development of the City’s Community Resilience Plan, which seeks to identify elements that could impact the community and outline measures to proactively prepare. In Tallahassee, this includes strengthening infrastructure, protecting a robust natural environment and local economy, building up adaptive capacity and empowering self-sufficiency across the community.
Additionally, the Commission will receive a budget update and provide direction. The City is committed to a transparent budget process. Information about the City’s financials is always available through OpenGov and the City’s online budget, both accessible through Talgov.com.
The development process for the Fiscal Year 2020 (FY20) budget will continue at the following public meetings:
- September 11: Regular City Commission meeting at 4 p.m. at City Hall, 300 South Adams Street – FY20 First Public Hearing and Approval (Public hearings begin at 6 p.m.)
- September 25: Regular City Commission meeting at 4 p.m. at City Hall, 300 South Adams Street – FY20 Final Budget Public Hearing and Approval (Public hearings begin at 6 p.m.)
