Update | June 11 – On Monday, July 9, the City of Tallahassee's Growth Management Department will go live with phase two of the New Customer Portal. In this phase all Velocity Hall applications of sub-trade permits will be moved to the New Customer Portal and Velocity Hall will be taken off line. As with Velocity Hall there will be a registration process for those who wish to apply for sub-permits. Fees for all new permits will be accepted through the New Customer Portal. The new customer portal will also offer features not previously available such as:

• The ability to begin applications and save them to complete at a later day. (Requires Account Creation)
• The ability to see all of your existing permits. (Requires Account Creation)
• Payment by Credit Cards and Debit Cards for fees on all new permits.
• Payment by electronic check for fees on all new permits.
• Access to chat services to communicate directly with Growth Management staff.
• Access to Growth Management Public Records Requests.
• Inspection scheduling for regular inspections on all new permits.
• Inspection scheduling for TIMED inspections.

Velocity Hall will go off line at 7:00pm on July 8, 2018. The New Customer Portal will be online for sub-permit application at 9:00am on July 9, 2018. The portal is currently available for those who would like to create their account in advance of the phase two implementation.
