Celebrate America
Don your red, white and blue and head to Tom Brown Park this Fourth of July for the City of Tallahassee's Celebrate America event. Taking place on Thursday, July 4, from 6-10 p.m., you and your family can enjoy live music and a spectacular, patriotic fireworks display.
The dazzling fireworks display, presented by the City of Tallahassee Utilities, lights up the sky starting at 9:50 p.m.
There will be food trucks and activities for children at the event. Attendees are also welcome to pack a picnic. Beer will be available for sale to those 21 and older with a valid ID.
Since there is limited parking within the park, StarMetro, the City's public transportation department, will provide free shuttle service for the event. Shuttle buses will run throughout the event, and Dial-A-Ride will be available on the same shuttle route. For handicap parking within the park, be sure to bring your placard and check with a parking attendant upon arrival at Tom Brown Park for assistance.
To help ensure safety for all, pedestrian traffic into the park will be limited. Attendees are encouraged to use the free shuttle service. Vehicular traffic on Conner Blvd. will be limited beginning at noon on July 4 to allow for safe fireworks setup.
