Pedestrian Struck at South Adams and Bloxham

As the investigation continues, investigators are releasing the name of the pedestrian involved in this accident. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Traffic Homicide Investigators were called to the scene and have assumed the investigation.
This is still an active investigation and Traffic Homicide Investigators are continuing to interview known witnesses and process evidence collected from the crash scene. They are urging anyone who may have information about the crash to please contact them at (850) 891-4200 or via Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.

Original Release
The Tallahassee Police Department is currently investigating a traffic crash which occurred at South Adams and East Bloxham Street involving a pedestrian. TPD and Emergency responders were called to the scene around 8:07 am this morning for the accident and immediately provided medical attention to the pedestrian. Bloxham Street is currently shut down between South Adams Street and South Monroe St. Traffic Homicide Investigators were called to the scene and have assumed the investigation.
TPD is asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, but did not speak with an officer on scene or anyone with information about the accident to please call (850) 891-4200 and ask to speak with the Traffic Homicide Unit. They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
