The occupants were alerted to the fire due to their smoke detector alarm. The incident caused a total loss of the structure and damages are estimated at $700,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported on scene. The fire department was assisted on scene by Leon County Sheriff’s Office and Leon County EMS.
