TPAL Accepting Applications for 2018 Youth Basketball and Cheerleading Summer League

The Tallahassee Police Athletic League is taking applications for the 2018 Youth Basketball and Cheerleading Summer League. The Youth Summer Basketball League is for boys between the ages of 10-15 and girls between the ages of 10-12. The Cheerleading League is for girls between the ages of 8-12.
The Tallahassee Police Athletic League program provides youth the opportunity to grow under the guidance of dedicated adults, assisting them in developing self-esteem and providing skills to help them stay in school. The goal of the program is to mentor youth by demonstrating respect and an understanding of the role of law enforcement. Additionally, if youth are reached early enough, they can develop strong positive attitudes towards police officers in their journey
The season will run from June 4 to July 25, 2018. All games will be played at Jack McLean Community Center, 700 Paul Russell Road, every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6p.m.- 9p.m.
The registration fee is $30.00. The registration forms can be downloaded from the new TPAL Website at https://Tallahasseepal.org or you can pick up a copy of the application at the Tallahassee Police Department located at 234 E. Seventh Avenue.
All registrations forms and supporting documents must be returned to the Tallahassee Police Department, c/o the Police Athletic League, located at 234 E. Seventh Ave., Tallahassee, FL 32303.
