TPD makes Arrest for Robbery/Attempted Homicide

On June 14, 2018, at 11:28 p.m. the Tallahassee Police Department responded to 1505 West Tharpe Street in reference to multiple calls of a shooting. Upon arrival officers learned that three suspects had committed a robbery, with one of the suspects shooting at the victim who was still on scene and unharmed. All three suspects then fled in a black Nissan sedan which was later located by an officer enroute to the incident location. Once additional officer’s arrived a traffic stop was conducted on Interstate 10, and all three occupants were detained without incident. Inside the vehicle officers found the victim’s property that was taken during the robbery, and the handgun used in the shooting. All three suspects were positively identified and subsequently arrested and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility.
