As the investigation continues, investigators are releasing the name of the victim and driver in this accident. Police Chief Michael J. DeLeo offers his condolences to the family of Mr. Davis and has them in his thoughts and prayers. TPD investigators are continuing to interview known witnesses and process evidence collected from the crash scene. They are urging anyone who may have information about the crash to please contact them at (850) 891-4200 or via Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.

The Tallahassee Police Department is currently investigating a traffic crash which occurred at Thomasville Road and Hermitage Boulevard involving one vehicle. TPD and Emergency responders were called to the scene at about 2:11 a.m. this morning for the accident and immediately provided medical attention to the driver. Sadly, the driver has died from their injuries. TPD Traffic Homicide Investigators were called to the scene and have assumed the investigation.
TPD is asking motorists to avoid the area of Thomasville Road and Hermitage Boulevard for the next several hours as the intersection is closed. Updates will be provided as they become available.
Traffic Homicide Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, but did not speak with an officer on scene or anyone with information about the accident to please call (850) 891-4200. They may also remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
