Mobile Home Fire on Janet Drive

On January 7, at 5:09 p.m., the Tallahassee Fire Department (TFD) was dispatched to a residential structure fire located in the 1400 block of Janet Drive. TFD crews arrived on scene to find a mobile home heavily involved in fire.

First arriving units quickly made an attack to extinguish the fire and search for occupants. All occupants were out of the home. One person was transported to the hospital due to burns.

TFD was assisted on scene by the Tallahassee Police Department, City of Tallahassee Utilities, Leon County EMS and the State Fire Marshal’s Office. The fire is currently under investigation.
