Pay Your Utility Bill In Person
There are three basic ways to pay your utility bill in person:
- Frenchtown Renaissance Center
- Drop Box
- Authorized Remote Payment Locations
Frenchtown Renaissance Center
Utility bills may be paid at the cashier windows on the first floor of the Frenchtown Renaissance Center during normal business hours. You will need the account holder's name and address to make a payment.

Drop Box
Two drop boxes are conveniently located at the Frenchtown Renaissance Center, 435 N. Macomb St. One is a drive-through in the northeast corner of the parking lot and the other is a walk-up drop box located just outside the building entrance. (Check or money order only. Payments made after 2 p.m. will post the next business day).
Authorized Remote Payment Locations
City of Tallahassee utility customers can make in-person payments by cash, check, or debit/credit card at authorized remote payment locations located conveniently throughout the city and nation!
When convenience matters most, visit one of the City of Tallahassee authorized payment-only locations throughout our service area accepting in person payments for your utility bill. Participating locations may provide this service to you with a transaction fee. Check with each location.
Payment Details
- Please bring your 1) City of Tallahassee utility bill or 2) utility account number when visiting an authorized remote payment location.
- Payments made at authorized utility payment locations before 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), will be credited to your account the same day. Payments made after this time will be credited the next business day.

- Hours of operation vary by location, so check with the business before you make your way there.
- These locations provide payment-only services. All other customer service needs and inquiries should be requested online or by calling the City of Tallahassee at 850-891-4968.
- Payments made at retail locations not listed on this page or the map below may take up to five (5) business days to post to your utility account, which could result in temporary service interruptions or other issues. Additionally, unauthorized retailers may charge a service fee.
